Thoughts - County Fair

So yesterday I was thinking about how big of an event the County Fair is here in Decatur County. It is the one event that pretty much everyone in Decatur County attends the fair at least one day. Even some of the people who I work with who claim they hate fairs attended the fair at least one day this week. It's interesting how everyone (for better or worse)  comes out to the fair. I was thinking that there isn't really another event like it that could even really be created around here... People come to see and be seen... but you have to have a lot of people showing up for that to happen... it happens at the fair because of tradition, food, and stuff for the kids... what else could do that in Decatur County? I don't know.
