Another Weird Dream



So about two months ago I posted a weird dream I had, and last night I had another strangely interesting dream that I have decided to post. This one isn't as long though, I'll have to provide background for a lot of it though as a lot of it references stuff from "back in the day". But since the people I know who usually read my blogs will understand most of it I decided to go ahead and tell it.










So this dream starts out with me and two of my friends Steve and Bruce and we are out in the open lot, where their is a big hole in the ground. Now Steve and Bruce are two of my best friends going back to high school when we used to hang out at Steve's trailer almost everyday. Anyway something apparently happened to the trailer and it was destroyed so we are talking about how we are going to build an even "better place" to hang out. I put better place because, as with most of our plans we never really achieved the pinnacle that was in our minds during the planning stage.. as we used to say we were "planners not doers"






Anyway before we get to the grand plan, we are standing around this hole which is I'm going to guess maybe 70 feet deep and looks to be filled with water, and we are looking down there and see a triceratops (you know the dinosaur) running around down there. We watch it for awhile but it doesn't affect us really as we start to pour a cement slab over the hole as our foundation. Yes, Yes I know this doesn't make sense building over a water filled pit, with a dinosaur running around down there, but wait it gets stranger.






As we are finishing the slab, we see a gigantic snake down in the pit, like think giant snake from the movie Anaconda 100 foot long type snake. So what do we do? We have like a 10 second period where we look at each other like what the heck are we going to do now before I say "Well the triceratops will probably keep him busy", we all shrug and go on like that is a perfectly good answer to the problem.






Anyway our grand cool place to hang out is like one of those park shelters, with closed in wooden sides, and then like torches hanging on the wall for light, with a big iron chandelier. It's like Viking longhouse meets Park Shelter, there are even wooden picnic tables inside.






So we are going to have a grand opening to our event, but only a few people show up Scott, Kris, Tex, Megan B., Brock, Megan S. pretty much mostly the people who used to hang at the trailer and a couple others, but we were all pretty disappointed not more people were there and they only stayed for a little bit when all of the sudden a like evil insurance guy showed up.






The Evil insurance guy, think used car salesman meets game show host... he was really cheesy, have slicked back hair, and was wearing a '50's style suit. He kept trying to sell us home insurance on our cool new viking park shelter. He would like pop out of nowhere every time we turned him down.






Anyway the Evil insurance guy was upset we turned him down and was trying to burn down our viking park shelter when I woke up.










If I had managed to sleep longer I'd guess that if he did burn it down the giant snake would have ate him, or at least that's what I hope happened. I know there was more to the dream and I wish I could remember it, but it was one of those that you wake up and go whoa that was weird... my favorite part was where we were like "Oh well the Triceratops will keep it busy"
